If you are experiencing no audio output from your Audi Q5 head unit, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Access the Setup Menu
  • Turn on your head unit.
  • Navigate to the Setup menu.


2. Enter System Settings
  • In the Setup menu, select System.


3. Access Car Info Resolution
  • Within the System menu, select Car Info Resolution.
  • When prompted, input 8888 and hit OK.

4. Set Car AUX Switch Mode to Automatic

  • Once inside the Car Info Resolution settings, look for the "Car aux switch mode".
  • Ensure that it is set to Automatic.


5. Adjust Media Line Setting
  • After setting the Car aux switch mode, navigate to "Media line".
  • Select option 2 (This works for Audi Q5 Quattro 2013 model) . For other models of vehicles, you may need to select a different option to fix the no audio issue. Try different settings if necessary.

6. Save and Exit

Exit the menu and restart your head unit to apply the changes.
