If your Toyota Land Cruiser GX 200 Series does not have a factory reverse camera and you are installing our VHEDIA reverse camera, you may need to make a manual connection for the reverse camera trigger.
Checking the Reverse Camera Plug

  1. Locate the 5-pin plug on the head unit’s main harness—this is typically used for the reverse camera trigger.
  2. This plug should contain orange and black wire.
What to Do If You Do Not Have a Matching Plug

If your vehicle does not have a corresponding plug to connect to the 5-pin reverse camera plug, follow these steps:

1. Cut the wire
  • Carefully cut off the orange and black wire from the 5-pin connector/plug.
2. Manually Connect the Wires
  • Take the orange and black wire and connect it to the reverse trigger wire (usually a loose wire attached to the RCA cable of the reverse camera).
3. Secure the Connection
  • Use electrical tape or heat shrink tubing to secure the wiring and prevent any loose connections.
Final Checks

  • Test the reverse camera by putting the vehicle in reverse gear.
  • If the screen does not switch to the camera feed, double-check the connections.
  • If the issue persists, contact VHEDIA Support for further assistance.
