If your Toyota Land Cruiser GX 200 Series does not have a factory reverse camera and you are installing our VHEDIA reverse camera, you may need to make a manual connection for the reverse camera trigger.
Checking the Reverse Camera Plug
- Locate the 5-pin plug on the head unit’s main harness—this is typically used for the reverse camera trigger.
- This plug should contain orange and black wire.
What to Do If You Do Not Have a Matching Plug
- Carefully cut off the orange and black wire from the 5-pin connector/plug.

2. Manually Connect the Wires
- Take the orange and black wire and connect it to the reverse trigger wire (usually a loose wire attached to the RCA cable of the reverse camera).

3. Secure the Connection
- Use electrical tape or heat shrink tubing to secure the wiring and prevent any loose connections.
Final Checks
- Test the reverse camera by putting the vehicle in reverse gear.
- If the screen does not switch to the camera feed, double-check the connections.
- If the issue persists, contact VHEDIA Support for further assistance.
