2. Navigate to Car Infotainment:

  • Within the Settings menu, select Car Infotainment.

3. Access Common Settings:

  • Under the Car Infotainment menu, tap on Common to access the common settings options.

4. Find Reverse Volume Suppression:

  • In the Common settings menu, look for the Reverse Volume Suppression option.

5. Adjust the Settings According to Your Preference:

  • Tap on Reverse Volume Suppression.
  • You will see the following options:
    • None: Selecting this option means there will be no change in media volume when your vehicle is in reverse mode. The volume remains the same as it was before shifting to reverse.
    • Weak: This option reduces the media volume slightly when your vehicle is in reverse mode. It offers a minimal decrease in volume to help you focus on reversing without completely muting the sound.
    • Medium: This option reduces the media volume to a moderate level when your vehicle is in reverse mode. It provides a balanced decrease in volume, making it easier to concentrate on reversing while still allowing some background sound.
    • Strong: This option significantly reduces the media volume when your vehicle is in reverse mode. It offers the maximum decrease in volume, ensuring minimal distractions from the media while you are reversing.

6. Select Your Preferred Option:

  • Choose the desired setting (None, Weak, Medium, or Strong) by tapping on it.
