ABOUT: Vhedia T-Series head unit has a built-in 4G module where you can insert a sim card directly. This enables you to take calls, make text messages, and enable cellular data directly from the head unit without needing to use Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

Troubleshooting: Head Unit Not Detecting SIM Card

If you experience an issue where the head unit is not detecting the SIM card, please follow the steps below:

1. Check Connection: Ensure that the SIM card tray is connected to the correct port at the back of the head unit. Please see the photo for your reference:
2. Check SIM Card Position: Make sure the SIM card is correctly positioned in the SIM card tray. Please see the photo below for your guide:

3. Reinsert SIM Card: Remove and reinsert the SIM card in the tray. We strongly advise turning off the head unit when inserting or removing the SIM card.


4. Try a Different SIM Card: Test with a different SIM card to determine if the issue is with the SIM card or the SIM card tray.

By following these steps, you can troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue with the head unit not detecting the SIM card.
