If your Volkswagen Caddy head unit (SKU: MT-9613CD15) is not powering up, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Check the Power Cable Connection


1. Use the Correct Power Cable: Ensure you are using the 4801-001010-00502 Golf 7 power cable to connect to the main plug of the vehicle. (Refer to the screenshot below for visual guidance)

2. Connect to the CANBUS: Make sure that 4801-001010-00502 Golf 7 power cable is also connected to the CANBUS Raise G-RZ-VW58. This is essential for the unit to power on.

Step 2: Configure the CANBUS Settings

1. Power On the Unit: Once the unit is connected properly, it should power on.

2. Access Settings:

  • Go to Settings on the head unit.
  • Navigate to Car Infotainment.
  • Select About Device.

3. Enter the Configuration Menu:

  • Press the tool icon ⚙️.
  • Input the code 8878.

4. Configure CAN Type:

  • Go to CanType.
  • Configure the settings as per the requirements. (Refer to the screenshot below for visual guidance)
