This guide will help you setup the split-screen view of a navigation app and the OBD2 gauges.

OBD2 Gauges Setup

  1. Connect Hardware: Plug your OBD2 Scan Tool into the car's OBD2 port and connect your head unit via Bluetooth. Here's a guide for the OBD2 setup: https://vhedia.tawk.help/article/m-series-connecting-obd2-scan-tool
  2. Select Profile: Open the CarScanner app on the head unit, go to Settings, and ensure your exact car make/model/engine is selected for better PID detection.
  3. Access Live Data: Navigate to the "Live Data" or "Dashboard" screen.
  4. Add Sensor: Tap an empty gauge spot, select "Add Gauge" and search for "Transmission" or "ATF" or any other gauge that you prefer to view.
  5. Monitor: Once added, the app will show the temperature in real-time.
