ISSUE:
You may encounter the parking sensors of your VW Amarok not working/showing after installing the head unit.
HOW TO FIX:
1. Check if the parking sensors are enabled
- In your dash, look for the parking sensor button and make sure it is enabled.
2. If that didn't work, you can try this:
- Check the tag on your Vhedia head unit CANBUS box (located in the main harness), and change the CANBUS setting based on your CANBUS box tag below:
If you see:
VW-SS-07 or VW-SS-06, select CAN BUS Setting No. 7:VW(Simple,Raise)
Meanwhile, if it says:
VW-SS-05A, Select CAN BUS Setting No. 13 VW-GOLF7(Simple,Raise)
To change the CAN BUS setting, go to your head unit and tap on Settings - Car Settings - Factory Settings - Enter 126 for password - CAN BUS - CAN BUS Settings - then select the appropriate one based on what is mentioned above.
