AC Menu Controls Not Showing/Displaying on the Screen - Ford Ranger PX2/PX3 (2015–2021)

ISSUE:

Here's a guide for you if the menu to adjust the AC controls not showing/displaying on the head unit's screen.

FIX:

First Step: 


Ensure that your CANBUS profile/type is set to "374". Here's the link on how to set the CANBUS profile/type: https://vhedia.tawk.help/article/m-series-how-to-set-can-bus-profle


Second Step:


Check if your head unit already has the Air Condition app. If not, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Settings > Car Infotainment > About Device.

2. Tap the Gear icon and enter 8878 as passcode.

3. Navigate the Menu icon.

4. Look for Air Condition and then tap it and select any blank space on the right side to add it.

5. Save the changes and Reboot the head unit.

Additional Steps:

Ensure the "AC Option" is enabled in the factory settings:

  1. Go to Settings > Car Infotainment > About Device.
  2. Tap the Tool icon, input 8878, and hit OK.
  3. Select Others, scroll down, and look for the AC Option.
  4. Tick the Enable option.
  5. Save the changes and reboot the head unit.

To turn the AC notification ON/OFF, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Car Infotainment > Video.
  2. Look for the Air Conditioner setting and toggle it to turn it ON or OFF.
