The installation involves replacing the factory hazard board with the VHEDIA 80071-HAZCK unit and connecting it properly to your vehicle’s existing wiring.
Remove the Factory Hazard Board:
- Locate the factory hazard button and the board attached to it on the dashboard fascia.
- Unscrew the board carefully from the fascia.
Install the VHEDIA 80071-HAZCK Board:
- Take the VHEDIA 80071-HAZCK replacement board and secure it in place of the original factory board.
- Make sure it is firmly attached and aligned with the existing mounting points.
Connect to the Factory Plugs:
- Locate the two factory plugs: the Hazard Plug (green) and the Door Lock Plug (brown).
- Connect these plugs to the corresponding connectors on the 80071-HAZCK board.
- Ensure all connections are tight and secure to avoid any loose connections that might cause functionality issues.

By following this guide, you should have the hazard and door lock buttons of your Mazda BT-50 connected correctly to your new VHEDIA head unit. If you experience any issues, please contact VHEDIA support for further assistance.
