When installing the T-Series head unit in a Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series (2007–2015 Sahara), you need to connect the TEMP cable correctly to prevent any issues with the factory settings/controls of the vehicle such as AC Temperature. The TEMP cable included in the kit comes with two plugs: a 10-pin plug and an 8-pin plug. The correct plug to use depends on your factory head unit.
Check your factory head unit and connect the appropriate plug as follows:
IMPORTANT: Use only one plug. If your vehicle has two factory plugs that fit, select the correct one as per the instructions.
- Locate the TEMP cable in the kit.
- Identify whether your factory head unit requires the 10-pin or 8-pin plug.
- Insert the corresponding plug into the designated AC temperature port.
- Ensure the connection is secure before proceeding with the installation of the head unit.
