When adjusting the driver’s side AC vents through the VHEDIA T-Series head unit, the passenger side vents are being adjusted instead (and vice versa).

This occurs when the rudder setting for the climate controls is set incorrectly.
Steps to Resolve the Issue:

1. Open Car Information

  • From the home screen, tap on the Apps icon to view the list of installed applications. Then open the Car Information.
2. Access Vehicle Settings
  • Navigate Vehicle Settings tab.

3. Locate Climate Control Settings

  • Scroll to the bottom of the settings list.
  • Look for the option labelled: “Climate button left and right rudder
4. Change Rudder Setting
  • Change the option to “Right Rudder”.

5. Reboot the Head Unit
  • Turn the vehicle OFF and then ON again to reboot the head unit.
✅ Result:

After rebooting, the AC vents should now respond correctly:

  • Driver side control adjusts the driver side vents.
  • Passenger side control adjusts the passenger side vents.
