Connecting to Apple CarPlay

This guide provides the steps on how to connect an iPhone to a Vhedia G-Series head unit for Apple CarPlay connection.
- Initiate Pairing on the Head Unit
- Tap the Phone app on the head unit and navigate to the Bluetooth icon to view the available Bluetooth devices.
- If no devices appear, tap the search icon (represented by a magnifying glass) to scan for nearby devices.
- Initiate Pairing on the iPhone
- Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on the iPhone.
- Locate the device, typically named Vhedia GSX, in the list of new devices and select it.
- Confirm the pairing request and allow the synchronisation of contacts and favourites.
- Complete Connection
- The head unit will automatically switch to the ZLINK app.
- When prompted on the iPhone, select "Connect" to enable CarPlay.
- Once the initial pairing is complete, the unit will remember the iPhone and connect automatically whenever you enter the car.
- To exit CarPlay, use the home button on the side of the head unit.
- To re-enter CarPlay, open the ZLINK app.
