Q: Reverse camera just shows No Signal but has grid lines
A: Check if there's any plug with black CAM-IN male RCA from the main harness that doesn't fit to any plugs from car side. Make sure to check factory plugs for patch cable as need to remove this and connect that plug
Remove this:
Then the supply lead will fit into this plug in the main harness. Then use the Black "CAM IN" wire with male RCA from this plug and connect it into purple "CAM-IN" wire from 6-pin grey plug
Q: Factory Reverse Camera now works, but only has static display
A: Make sure to set the correct camera setting. See video below.
If you also have the camera cable shown in image below, here's how you should wire it:
4-pin plug: to 4-pin plug of car side
Black GND wire: to main harness' GND wire or use F-CAM plug GND.
Yellow wire: to main harness' Orange with Black stripe wire or red 12v wire from main harness. Ideally, you only want the camera to receive power when in reverse so we recommend using our orange with black stripe wire
