Q: I have a Prado VX and I got no sound after installing the head unit
A: Additional canbus setting and amplier setting is needed.
- Go to Settings > Car Settings
- Factory Settings and enter 126 for passcode
- Go to CANBUS > Advanced
- Manufacturer > Set to Simple
- Category > Set to Toyota
- Model set to Prado 2018 (Doesn't matter what year model you have, just standard setting)
- Tap OK.
Then, go back to your home screen. Next: (If you have an M Series sku is MT-1007VX, go directly to this step)
- Go to Apps > look for app called "Amplifier"
- Adjust the volume and see if it sound now works

NOTE: If still doesn't work, put factory unit back in and turn up volume 75% then take it out and put our unit back in.
Q: Dial / Knob does not flick back
A: Pull off knob and see if you turn the metal part if it is ok. If it is, reach out to us via at [email protected], and we'll send you a new knob. If that still doesn't work, reach out to us again to help you sort it out.

A: Unplug the two cables with label "REVERSE IN". See pic below

A: Set the correct camera settings
Toyota QC3.0 USB Panel
Your VHEDIA headunit kit (list of SKs with QC3.0 USB panel) will come with a USB QC 3.0 USB Panel that you sits flush into the dash for easier access than just having a USB port hanging around anywhere in the dash.
Below is what the plugs from the Toyota QC3.0 USB Panel looks like:

If you're looking for where to plug the cable above, we have two options:
1. That white plug will be the same as the one on the back of the factory cigarette plug so if you can access that and you can just unplug it and plug that in as it is a piggyback cable.
2. If that is too hard to access, you can just snip off the plug and connect the Red wire to ACC power and the Black to GND to the head unit.
