Android Auto brings apps from your smartphone to your VHEDIA head unit so you can focus while you drive. You can control features like navigation, maps, calls, text messages, and music via our Zlink app or SpeedPlay app.
SKU: X Series (VH-XXXX/X)
At times, you may encounter issues trying to connect to Android auto via our Zlink app or SpeedPlay app, and below are some things you can try
1. Restart your phone and reconnect
2. Do a Bluetooth reset. Forget the head unit from your phone's Bluetooth and forget your phone from the head unit's Bluetooth app.
3. Make sure your phone's Android OS is up to date.
4. Try doing wired Android Auto then once it works try connecting wireless.
5. Do our Head Unit Firmware Update. You may follow the steps here: https://vhedia.com.au/download-x-series-update/
6. Try a different phone. NOTE: Android Auto isn't available on devices that run Android (Go edition)
If all the above steps fail, please do reach out to us so we can assist you further. https://vhedia.com.au/contact/
