SKU: X Series (VH-XXXX/X)
Issue: VHEDIA head units are designed to boot up on the same page where you left off before turning off your car ignition. At times, you may encounter issues where it isn't the case, your head unit always boots up showing the "VHEDIA" logo, your head unit's time and date are reset, and you're unable to save radio stations.
How to fix:
Here are the steps on how to do a MCU update:
1. On your head unit, Go to Settings > About Machine > Send us a picture of the MCU version showing on your head unit via email at [email protected]
2. Once we received your email with the MCU version, we will send the appropriate MCU update file for your head unit.
3. After we send the MCU update file to you, get a USB Flash Drive and format it as FAT32.
4. Transfer the MCU update file into the formatted USB Flash Drive.
5. Plug it into one of the USB ports coming from the back of the head unit that is also labeled as "3G/USB".
6. From your head unit, navigate to Settings > Car Settings > Upgrade and Restore Factory Settings > Update MCU.
