If you're experiencing a "Not triggering" issue with your reverse camera on the Isuzu MU-X head unit, it can typically be resolved by ensuring that the factory reverse camera trigger cable is properly connected to the main harness.

Follow these steps to troubleshoot and fix the issue:


1. Connect the Factory Reverse Camera Cable

  • Make sure to that the factory camera retention plug is connected to the F port of the head unit.
  • Refer to the photos below for your guide:

2. Check the Factory Reverse Camera Cable Connection:

  • Locate the factory reverse camera triggering cable from the car.
  • Refer to the photo below that shows the plug on the factory head unit where the reverse camera trigger cable is connected.

3. Connect the Cable to the Main Harness:

  • Next, connect the factory reverse cam trigger cable to the new head unit's main harness.
  • Refer to the photo below that shows the correct plug on the main harness. Make sure the cable is properly inserted here.

4. Test the Reverse Camera:

  • After confirming the connections, test the reverse camera by shifting your vehicle into reverse gear.
  • The camera feed should now appear on the head unit display. If the issue persists, double-check the connections to ensure they are secure.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the "Not triggering" issue with your reverse camera on the Isuzu MU-X head unit.
