Volume bar shows up when pressing brake or indicator

Reason: 

The KEY1 or KEY2 cable is connected to the factory brake wire.

Solution:

Pull out the KEY1 or KEY2 Wire


  1. Locate the KEY1 and KEY2 wires.
  2. Pull out one of the KEY wires (KEY1 or KEY2).
  3. Check if the issue persists.
  4. If the issue is resolved, retain the removed wire. If the issue persists, reconnect the removed wire and pull out the other KEY wire.

OR

Swap Key 1 and Key 2 Locations


  1. Locate the Key 1 and Key 2 connections.
  2. Use a small screwdriver to lift the tab and take the pin out.
  3. Pull out Key 1 and swap it to the location of Key 2 or vice versa.
  4. Secure the connection and leave out the cable you swapped.
  5. Test to ensure the issue is resolved.

  • Ensure the vehicle is turned off before performing any wire modifications.
  • Double-check all connections after making changes to avoid any further issues.
